Fundació ENT is looking for a candidate to join an Interreg EU MED project on bio-waste.
CirBioWaste is a two-year Transfer project that started on April 1st, 2025. The project aims to enhance environmental resilience and support the transition to an efficient and circular bioeconomy in the Mediterranean area. It does so by promoting significant changes in behavior, governance, and management practices related to bio-waste, while closing its value chain loop-yielding notable environmental and economic benefits.
To help reverse the current situation, CirBioWaste will transfer existing, innovative, and validated solutions for sustainable bio-waste management, adapted to various local contexts. Strategies and action plans -including policy recommendations and practical guidelines for implementing the proposed solutions- will be co-developed with targeted entities and key local stakeholders. This will be done in collaboration with six experienced project partners and 19 project associates, including organizations from Catalonia and Italy with extensive expertise in bio-waste management, as well as other EU networks advocating for the topic.
The main tasks include: preparing technical reports, developing a toolkit and a knowledge platform, supporting local entities in drafting strategies and action plans, producing dissemination materials, and organizing or participating in workshops, networking, and training activities. The project also involves managerial and reporting responsibilities.
