The study presents the economic instruments in the field of waste management in place in the Basque Country (CAPV); then presents the state at European (and International) level and at Spanish level, focusing on those economic instruments that are considered to potentially have more impact and relevance in the field of waste management from the perspective of a regional level administration. Based on that, the report develops detailed proposals for the Basque Country.
