In 2013 WWF participated in a project of innovative experiences for the conservation of high natural value areas. Within this project ENT was commissioned to formulate innovative taxation proposals to contribute to the conservation of these spaces. The proposals were developed in the form of practical information sheets to be implemented at the national and regional levels. With regard to the topic of this tender, the proposals covered not only conservation of natural areas but also water, biodiversity, forestry, agriculture and fisheries. In total 18 proposals were developed, which were selected jointly by the consulting team and WWF.
