Fundación Biodiversidad has selected a project proposed by Fundació ENT in the context of the 2017 call for projects in the fields of terrestrial, marine and coastal biodiversity. The project is entitled “The socioeconomic impact of land stewardship in Spain”.
This project will perform an institutional analysis of the implementation of land stewardship in Spain, followed by an assessment of its impact in terms of the resulting socioeconomics benefits, and contribution to the maintenance of traditional knowledge. This improvement will improve the knowledge about land stewardship, as well as for its promotion as a viable management model of public and private areas.
The expected conclusion of the project is December 2018, followed by the publication of results.
