Irene Castells Rey has joined the ENT Foundation for a one year period. Irene is an environmentalist with experience as an environmental educator. Her main area of interest is waste management. In recent years she has participated in several projects to introduce or improve the selective collection of organic waste and composting process.
In ENT, she will focus on supporting the editing of the journal “Ecología Política” and supporting the updating and provision of new contents for the Observatory of the Taxation of Waste website.
The ENT Foundation has hired Irene Castells as part of the award of grants for the internships of unemployed young people. This action is promoted and subsidized by the Public Employment Service of Catalonia and funded by the European Social Fund as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
