ENT provides technical support to MedCities for the project BLUEFASMA. BLUEFASMA is an Interreg project that aims to implement the principles of circular economy in the fishing and aquiculture sectors. The final objective is to stimulate the growth of blue circular economy on islands and coastal areas of the Mediterranean. For that reason, several pilots will be implemented under the responsibility of MedCities, and with the support of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB).
Considering the characteristics of the metropolitan area, MedCities and MAB have identified that short commercialisation and distribution circuits and prevention of food wastage are the priority areas to address in the activities developed in the framework of BLUEFASMA.
