Zero Waste Europe has published the report “A brief overview of the economic costs related to waste infrastructure across Europe”, on the management and financing costs of the implementation of the waste management models in different municipalities and regions of Europe. The intention is to offer an introductory guide with a view from various European contexts, which allows exploring different examples of economic balance sheets linked to waste management systems aligned with local zero waste strategies.
The ENT Foundation has collaborated in the preparation of this report by including Catalan case studies from the Berguedà region and the municipality of Manlleu.
