The first workshop of the H2020 project SCORE (Smart control of the climate resilience of European Coastal Cities) associated with the Costal City Living Lab (CCLL) of ‘Vilanova i la Geltrú/Province of Barcelona’ will occur between 16 and 18 of May in the city of Vilanova i la Geltrú (Catalonia, Spain).

CCLLs are co-design and co-creation oriented laboratories where ecosystem-based approaches (EbA) for climate change adaptation will be tested. Over the next three years, several workshops will be developed in this CCLL with the active involvement of local and regional stakeholders representing the citizens, public administration, private sector, and academia.

The first workshop will include three working sessions, where local and regional stakeholders will start discussing the main climate change impacts affecting the local and regional areas as well as the potential most suitable adaptation solutions.

The CCLL of ‘Vilanova i la Geltrú/Province of Barcelona’ is led by ENT with the support of the Vilanova i la Geltrú City Council and the Barcelona Provincial council.
