The Department of Environment and Housing (DMAH) of the Catalan Government commissioned to ENT the preparation of a report on the effects of environmental policies on the competitiveness of the Catalan economy. The study included a qualitative and quantitative assessment, with some estimates for Catalonia, of the effects of different environmental policy instruments, the costs of adopting and the costs of not adopting environmental measures, and their effects on competitiveness of firms and on the whole economy.
