The article describes the experience of the introduction of reusable incontinence diapers held in the nursing home Pare Batllori of Barcelona between 2006 and 2009. Different types of diapers existing on the market are described, as well as the characteristics of their implementation in the residence (number of participants, type of washing required, logistics, etc.), along with costs and results. Finally, the possibilities of extending the experience to other nursing homes are evaluated.
