Noise, dust and odours are three ways of environmental pollution which have not received primary attention until recently, but they are increasingly becoming more important because of the negative effects they can have on people. The reduction of these sources of pollution requires the coordinated implementation of a number of technical, administrative, educational and management measures.
That is why the Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (CILMA), in Girona, considered useful to provide a catalog of local concrete proposals for action in these areas.
The catalog contains an introductory section which sets out the main regulations related to the three vectors, and a set of twenty fact sheets that summarise the actions that could be undertaken at the local level.
