The project consists of the analysis of the situation of waste collection charges within the 36 municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. For those without a charge in place, a proposal -including common elements across the Metropolitan Area- is presented to create it; for those where waste collection charges already exist, proposals are presented to harmonise them. All proposals take into account the existence of a Metropolitan charge on waste treatment (TMTR), which needs to be consistent with the municipal waste collection charges.
