The project “BLUE ISLANDS – Costs of marine litter management in Mediterranean islands beaches” ends

This project aimed to develop a questionnaire for the collection of information from the municipalities about cleaning and treatment costs of marine litter in Mediterranean beaches of the islands of Mallorca (Spain); Sicily (Italy); Rab (Croatia); Malta; Crete, Mykonos and Rhodes (Greece) and Cyprus. This activity is part of the BLUEISLAND Project (Interreg MED Programme, 2014-2020).
The analysis of the answers to the questionnaire was made by the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). The results will be presented in the report 5.3.1., which will soon be available at the webpage of the project.
