The LIFE BIOBEST consortium recently met in Barcelona for the project’s second monitoring visit. In the coming weeks, the project will present their policy brief on regulatory barriers in bio-waste management in collaboration with OVAM. The presentation is part of an event for the EU Belgian Presidency.

Towards the end of June, four guidelines will be published on 1) separate collection of bio-waste 2) governance and economic instruments 3) quality compost and digestate and 4) best practices in communication and engagement.
