‘OPTimising FORest management decisions for a low-carbon, climate resilient future in Europe’ (OptFor-EU) is a four-year Horizon Europe project, to support EU forests in their capacity to mitigate and adapt to climate change. The project explores management practices, ecosystem services provision and CO2 sink capacity provided by forests, enhancing forest resilience and its capacities to mitigate climate change in 9 European countries.
ENT is contributing to the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and the inventory of relevant stakeholders to the Spanish case study in Extremadura, as well as contributing to the development of the Decision Support System with data.
