The primary objective of this project is to conduct a comprehensive Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis for five representative steel products sold on the European market, adopting a cradle-to-gate approach that traces the LCC from raw material sourcing (cradle) to the point of final product readiness at the manufacturing plant’s exit (gate).
This analysis will include the comparative assessment between base case and eco-design scenarios, with several potential ecodesign requirements for each of the products under scope.
