LIFE BIOBEST held its third Steering Committee meeting in Brussels on November 13-14.

The meeting, hosted by European Compost Network, provided consortium partners a forum to discuss the upcoming events and deliverable outputs, which include a policy brief on bio-waste regulatory/policy barriers as well as four guidelines on separate collection models, economic instruments, quality standards, and communications. The meeting was followed by ECN’s Joint Task Group on bio-waste and compost quality standards and measurements.
