This report analyses the situation of waste charges in Catalonia with the aim of having a detailed diagnosis of its characteristics, both for households and for commercial activities.
Based on a significant sample of municipalities, the main characteristics and the degree of coverage of the service costs were identified. From there, a number of improvements were suggested for municipalities to consider in the preparation of their fiscal ordinances.
