From 2008 to 2014 the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) commissioned Fundació ENT to conduct an update of the Regional Environmentally Related Taxes and Charges in Spain within the OECD/EEA Database on Instruments used for Environmental Policy and Natural Resources Management.
For the different Spanish regional taxes, Fundació ENT updated the information regarding tax bases, tax rates, revenue, exemptions, etc., and also added other relevant taxes and charges that were not initially included in the database.
