We have completed our participation in the LIFE Biorgest project. The project is led by the Forestry Consortium of Catalonia and has the participation of the Center for Forestry Science and Technology of Catalonia (CTFC), the Forest Property Center (CPF), CREAF, the National Center of the Propriété Forestière (CNPF) and the Network for Conservation of Nature (XCN). The aim of the project is to improve the biodiversity of Mediterranean forests, integrating innovative practices and measures into current forest management and planning. ENT was in charge of making a methodological proposal for the D5 action of the project, consisting of the socio-economic evaluation of it.
In addition, ENT analyzed fiscal instruments for biodiversity conservation in sustainable forest management.
