Marga López holds a Degree in Agricultural Technical Engineering, Degree in Food Science and Technology and PhD in organic waste management. Her fields of expertise are organic waste characterisation, composting and other biological treatments at industrial and decentralised level, use organic amendments as compost for agriculture, sensitizing activities and awareness campaigns. She has experience on research in expertise fields in UE and national projects, university teaching and especialized training, work in local administration for research, regulation and administrative procedures.
BIOCIRCULARCITIES aims to support the development of the regulatory framework and innovative roadmaps aligned with the principles of the circular bioeconomy, focused on “bio-based waste” and based on the co-creation of knowledge thanks to participatory processes with multiple actors. The project will last 2 years, starting in October 2021.
