ENT Environment and Management was founded in 2002 to conduct innovative projects in the area of environmental management. Later, in 2010, Fundació ENT was also created as a private non-for-profit research centre. The founding members of both institutions were:
Founders
He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Ecological Economics and Environmental Management), an Economics Degree from the UNED, an Industrial Engineering Degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Master of Science in Monitoring, Modelling and Management of Environmental Change from King’s College London. His specialities are the preventative management of municipal waste and economic environmental policies applied to different areas such as waste, climate change, energy management and nature conservation.
Senior Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (with special expertise in solar photovoltaic electronics). Technical Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (electrical special expertise) and a Master of Science in Engineering and Environmental Management from the Institute of Technology of Catalonia. He puts special focus on the strategic vision to position this area in new fields that contribute to improving sustainable energy. Innovation is a relevant aspect that he pursues in the conception of most projects.
PhD in Environmental Sciences 2011 (UAB), Master in Ecological Economics and Environmental Management (UAB), Director of Operations and Innovation (ESADE), Master in Physics (UAB), Bachelor of Physics (UB). His main areas of interest are fishing policies and political ecology, with special emphasis on environmental justice.
PhD in Environmental Sciences (Ecological Economics), he is an associate professor Serra Húnter in the Department of Economics and Economic History and a researcher at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His specialties are the ecological economy, energy systems and the biophysical metabolism of societies.
