On November 23, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge published the “Report on the calculation of the separate collection of single-use beverages plastic bottles in 2023”. This report indicates the failure to meet the separate collection objectives for beverage plastic bottles of up to three liters established for 2023 in art. 59.1 of Law 7/2022, of April 8, on waste and contaminated soil for a circular economy (LRSCEC). The same LRSCEC, in its art. 59.2, indicates that in the event that the objectives set for 2023 (70%) are not met, a Deposit-Refund Scheme (DRS) for these containers will be implemented throughout the territory within two years, which will guarantee compliance with the objectives in 2025.

In this context, ENT is organizing two PensamENTs sessions focused on this matter on February 26 and March 5.

PensamENTs are online sessions organized by ENT to debate on issues related to the environment. ENT invites an expert to each session, who presents his presentation and then opens up to questions and debate.

PensamENTs sessions last one hour and are monthly. They are free and open to everyone. However, you must register to access to each session.
