In order to comply with Law 25/2022, of June 30, on the circular economy, the National Circular Economy Strategy (ENEC), and the National Waste Plan (PNR) – Horizon 2035, the Government of Andorra has commissioned ENT the task of conducting a study on Extended Producer Responsibility.
The objective of this study is to provide a basic document to assist in the implementation of an EPR regime in the Principality through which producers assume the cost of managing the waste from products placed on the market. The study includes an analysis of the tax and customs framework and the current legal framework for the implementation of EPR in the Principality of Andorra.
