The food value calculator is now available in English. Until now, it was only available in Catalan and Spanish. With the slogan “Against food waste, we value food”, this tool highlights the resources needed to produce the food we consume.
The food value calculator offers the possibility to calculate three environmental indicators associated with the production of a certain amount of food as well as its approximate economic value. In this way, it emphasizes the value of everything that is wasted when we throw away fresh food before it is cooked and consumed.
