Diana Reinoso Botsho joins the ENT Foundation to work on the waste area and the project ReWoW «Revolutionizing the Waste of Waste: A new bioeconomy-based business for digestate».

Diana Reinoso has a degree in Sociology, with postgraduate degrees in Environmental Management and in Socio-Environmental Analysis and Intervention from the University of Barcelona, and a Higher Agricultural Technician. She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Sustainability Science and Technology at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. With more than ten years of experience, she has worked in sustainability, applied research and environmental consulting, integrating social and technical analysis in R&I projects, waste prevention and agri-food sustainability. She is a specialist in social research, participatory techniques, citizen science and co-design, applied to environmental challenges.

The ReWoW project proposes a disruptive approach to transform digestate, the byproduct of anaerobic digestion, from an environmental burden into a valuable feedstock for a new bioeconomy. The project introduces a novel valorization pathway through the development of Modular Adaptive Fermentation (MAF), a next generation bioprocess that combines microbial bioconversion with artificial intelligence (AI)-driven optimization.
