The WOODCIRCLES consortium will convene on 10 and 11 December 2024 at the Environment Park in Turin, one of the project’s pilot areas, for the third general assembly and board meeting. We will discuss project progress, future activities, and visit key local sites, including the Circular Wood Plan of ASM Vercelli and a local circular school project.

The WOODCIRCLES project is a four-year Horizon Innovation Action led by the Danish Technological Institute. The ENT Foundation coordinates the work package on “Sustainability and Impact Assessment.” WOODCIRCLES aims to develop innovative circular solutions for sustainable wood construction, reducing Europe’s reliance on non-renewable resources, cutting GHG emissions, minimizing waste, and providing long-term carbon sinks as well as alternatives to fossil-based and carbon-intensive products.
