On October 23 (12:00 p.m.) a new PensamENTs session will take place with Doctor David Font, entitled “The Role of Circularity in Environmental Product Declarations”. David Font Vivanco is Director of Life Cycle Sustainability at Eco Intelligent Growth.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) have become established as a standard for communicating the environmental performance of products throughout their life cycle. Circularity strategies – reject, reduce, redesign, reuse, repair, refurbish, remanufacture, repurpose, recycle and recover – are critical to the performance reported in EPDs. In this conference, Dr. David Font Vivanco will address the crucial role of circularity in EPDs from a regulatory perspective, as well as the state of the scientific and practical art. Through this presentation, we will delve into how best practices, the current and future regulatory landscape, as well as scientific advances, enhance circularity strategies through EPDs.
