The General Assembly and 2nd Living Lab of the Biocircularcities project will take place on 15 and 16 September in Barcelona. For the first time, all members of the consortium will meet live to discuss the previous and next steps of the project, after all previous meetings were held online due to COVID-19. During the 2nd Living Lab, around 20 local stakeholders will identify and discuss legal/administrative, technical, economic, environmental/health, and social barriers and drivers to circular bioeconomy implementation in the biowaste chain in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. All discussion results will be included in the final reports of the project for policy recommendations.
Biocircularcities project, lead by Fundació ENT, aims to support the development of the regulatory framework and innovative roadmaps aligned with the principles of the circular bioeconomy, focused on “bio-based waste” and based on the co-creation of knowledge thanks to participatory processes with multiple actors
