Environmental innovation that serves society

One of the main challenges our society faces is sourcing healthy and accessible food, and at the same time is produced with the minimum environmental impact and with the widest possible distribution of wealth generated. ENT tries to drive projects in this direction, trying to integrate all the complexities that come with the development of policies related to the food system into the analysis and the proposals made. In the last few years a good part of our activity has focussed in the area of fishing and aquaculture, where we have done various projects and investigations linked to European public policies.

In ENT we adapt this perspective to the different needs of our clients. You can find some examples of what we do in this section.

Part of our philosophy is working with other entities, for this reason we are part of the network MedReAct, a network of Mediterranean organisations orientated to recuperating the Mediterranean ecosystem, and part of Seas at Risk, a network of non-governmental entities orientated to marine protection. We are also part of the research group UAB-ARAG (Agriculture Livestock and Food in Globalization), at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
