Santiago Gorostiza (ENT fellow) starts a research stay at the Huntington Library (California)

Santiago Gorostiza (ENT fellow) has been selected by the Huntington Library fellowship programme as Trent R. Dames Civil Engineering History Fellow. Between April 15 and June 15 2018, Gorostiza will be working on the Vega de Tera dam failure in Zamora (Spain), which destroyed the town of Ribadelago and killed 144 of its inhabitants on January 9, 1959.

The Huntington Library is a research institution established in 1919 and located in San Marino, California. Its collections on the history of science and technology rank among the best in the world.
