The first general assembly of DECISIVE was on the 25th and 26th of April in Copenhagen (Denmark). Different members of the consortium presented the progress achieved on the technological part (i.e. micro-anaerobic digestion and the solid state fermentation units), the communication and dissemination materials as well as on the methodologies and tools of the project.
On the first day of the meeting, ENT presented the regulatory barriers for technological development as well as for the demonstration site identified during the last 8 months in collaboration with the rest of the partners. On the second day, ENT summarized the current status of the Decision Support Tool to be used by waste authorities and consultants for assessing and planning decentralized networks of biowaste valorization units. ENT also hosted an inspiring and productive outbreak session in which participants identified key indicators to be included in the Decision Support Tool.
